Demonstrations: New Import Table Wizard & Create Table Wizard with Auto-Mapping

Enterprise Edition

The Enterprise Edition is designed for a client/server environment for those that require an enterprise-class solution to data integration. The Enterprise Edition offers collaboration through a shared centralized Meta Data Repository, server based Scheduling Services and the .NET source code for complete integration into .NET applications. The centralized Meta Data Repository and Scheduling Services support an unlimited number of Developers. It offers complete flexibility to design, build and automate all of your integration needs. Developers can work within the client/server environment and/or off-line with the ability to export VIS Jobs to the Enterprise Server. The Enterprise Edition offers 3 deployment options including executable jobs, .NET components that you can reference from your own custom .NET applications royalty-free, and the full .NET source-code generation option. This is truly a world class solution!

Developer Edition

The Developer Edition gives you similar capability as the Enterprise Edition but is limited to a single developer on a stand alone PC with a single CPU. The Developer Edition comes with both the Personal Server (for those using XP Home Edition or Win2000), as well as a single server license of the Enterprise Server (requires XP Profesional or Win2000 Professional and must be on the same PC as the Designer) so that you can automate your processes. The Developer Edition is a single (1) Designer license. Purchase the Developer Edition if you don't require a client/server environment with a centralized server for shared meta data (collaboration), centralized scheduling services, and there is no requirement for the .NET source code generation option.
