Demand Signal Management is not simply a reporting tool. It is also not simply a database full of demand level/point of sale data. It encompasses the entire manner in which data is integrated, cleansed, harmonized, modeled and distributed.

Sometimes referred to as a DSR, Demand Signal Repository, however, it should be considered a process that leverages an open architecture.
